Keith Lawler, former creative director of Folk VML and one of Ireland’s most respected creative talents, has announced the launch of his new venture: LAUDHAUS, the country’s first dedicated sonic branding agency. Blending his award-winning career in advertising with a lifelong passion for music, Lawler is on a mission to help brands find—and design—their unique sound.

LAUDHAUS aims to harness the strategic power of audio to build brand identities that go beyond visuals and words, creating deeper, more memorable connections with audiences. “Sonic branding is one of the most under-utilised strategic tools available to brands today,” Lawler said. “Every brand has a voice, whether they realise it or not. At LAUDHAUS, we design that voice with purpose—so that it stands out and resonates.”

Drawing on research from thought leaders like Byron Sharp, Ipsos, Kantar, and Caltech, Lawler believes sonic branding is becoming essential for brands looking to stay relevant and recognisable in an increasingly noisy world.

Keith has worked with top global agencies like VML, Saatchi & Saatchi, and TBWA, creating award-winning campaigns for major brands including Adidas, Virgin, Bank of Ireland and Vodafone. His work has been recognised at Cannes Lions, the Clios, Eurobest, the Sharks, and the Effies, among others. Outside of advertising, Keith founded Firstage, a pioneering music-tech platform that allowed artists to perform live via augmented reality—hosting the world’s first AR concert in 2018.
